Meditation should be a habit for everybody.
Beyond meditation, you can achieve things that you never had imagined. My very first time with meditation, I couldn’t understand why people used to say that this practice is really helpful for everybody, also that gives you focus in your day. NOW, I UNDERSTAND WHY… I’m not able to be the focus on my day if I skip my ritual of the morning (Meditation and a cold shower)
First of all, you have to know the purpose of meditation.
The goal of meditation is to go beyond the mind and experience our essential nature—which is described as peace, happiness, and bliss. You can apply this in very different ways.

A very popular way to understand this is that YOU CAN CREATE BALANCE, between two biggest powers in your mind, your purpose and your capacity.
Let me explain this…
At the moment that you are in that state, you can choose where are you going to put your effort, your capacity.
As the day progresses, we begin to have mental wear that accentuates the closer the night.
Whether for the traffic, the cries of a baby, a hateful boss, this is inevitable. Therefore, the best time to do it in the morning, because our mental wasting is completely null (taking into account that you sleep well)
When you enter the trance state that meditation gives you, you allow your body to focus on the right things during the day.
How do you do that?
When you have been in the state for a while, you can think clearly that only meditation allows you. That is your time to make your mental list of things that you are going to focus on during the day.
Thus you create a balance between your purpose and your capacity/effort.
You will not be wasting energy on things that are not really in your priorities.
Another very common way to understand the meditation is that you can use it to create a stronger spiritual connection with yourself because the state you enter when you meditate allows you to do an introspection that few activities would allow.
At that moment, you can understand what is inside of you, your beliefs, your emotions, what characterizes you, that is not part of you, that you would like to change or add. In this way, you are SEEING WITHIN YOU, SOMETHING YOU CANNOT DO AT ANY TIME OF THE DAY.

That’s when you can “edit yourself” because through this you create contact with yourself, which makes you more alert about your thoughts and emotions.
If you want to change that, for example, you are very grumpy, the way to do it is not to repeat yourself several times “I will not be grumpy”, the way to do it is by doing the introspection that only meditation allows you to do.
A third way to understand meditation is that it gives you the ability to TRANSMIT ENERGY.
This is perhaps one of the most complex ways of understanding meditation.
Imagine that you had a very serious fight with your partner, and their arguments left you thinking “is it really what you wanted to tell me?, Is the most incoherent thing I’ve heard”
And you get quite angry.
If you meditate on those moments, you can change and transform that anger into focus for what you decide, and so you stop being angry with your partner,
Another very good example is sexual energy.
If, for example, you need to be with a man or a woman, instead of “replacing him/her with your hand”, you can meditate to transform that sexual energy into an approach to use it ANYTHING.

How to meditate?

Sit on the floor, you can put something soft under you.
Sit with your back straight, your shoulders were thrown back, and your chin pointing forward.
Feel like a lotus flower.
Slightly loosen your jaw, and stick your tongue to your palate.
Try to just focus on your breathing, it is important that you owe your thoughts as quiet as possible, if for example, a red car appears on your head, just imagine it on the outside, do not imagine that you drive it or something similar.
So, until you can leave your mind quiet and just concentrate on your breathing.
Then, you will begin to feel how the trance state enters you.
You should know that not all people are allowed to enter this state while sitting, other people are facilitated with yoga. This is because the mind is very difficult to keep quiet without your body making any movement.
The most basic positions like that of the cobra are perfect to start.
I can tell you that yoga has great properties to tone your body because certain postures involve muscles in your back or abdomen.
