I remember trying to get out of bed feeling sharp pains in my lower back, and how I tried many things to stop feeling that pain.
I stopped exercising because I thought the weights were causing that pain in my back.
I was beginning to worry if I was sitting for more than 30 minutes.
I even thought of surgery, but something about me told me that it was not my case and that that was not the solution.

This is a truly serious problem.
For some people, the pain may be more pungent than others, for many people this problem manifests with a dull ache.
A symptom is that DIFFICULTIES your daily movement and staying in an upright position.
Appear fairly quickly after injuries, for example, weights in the gym, or by lifting a heavy object without the correct technique.
Now, in some situations, lower back pain MUST BE REVISED IMMEDIATELY BY A SPECIALIST.

– A serious fall from the stairs or a considerable height
– A quite painful lesion like those mentioned above

Low back pain from sitting
Nowadays most people (I include myself) are sitting very long, and what they don’t realize is that it is the same position that generates this intense pain.

The posture that most people are in is with their shoulders thrown forward and humpbacked.
I wish that these people could see with X-RAY so that they could see in the position so compromised to which they put their vertebrae.
The causes mentioned above, such as sciatica or a herniated disc, are much more aggravated if they are sitting for many hours, AND EVEN MUCH MORE IF THEY HAVE A BAD POSTURE.

– Throw your shoulders back
– Point your chin in front
– Take out the chest
Try to have a good posture, I am a faithful follower of the belief that most people have back pain from bad posture.
Some other remedies you could use are:
– Apply an ice pack to the part where you feel more pain and leave it there for about 20 minutes.
– Get a good massage, this will help deflate and further relieve your back
– Take over-the-counter medication. Pain relievers like nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) can reduce discomfort and swelling.

Yoga for back pain
I tell you this because I used it.
Yoga is perhaps one of the best solutions to help you eliminate that horrible back pain.
I have used it, and I still use it today, because I cannot forget that sense of satisfaction that I felt when one day I woke up without lower back pain.
Yoga helps you to decompress the discs that have been compressed due to long sitting, poor postures and in some cases excess body fat.
These are some positions that I have used and that have helped me …
Cat and Cow Pose
Start on your hands and knees. While inhaling, lift your chest and tailbone towards the ceiling, and while exhaling, arch your back, pressing through the shoulder blades and dropping your head.
And repeat this pattern sometimes, slowly and in a controlled manner.
With this movement pattern, you are stretching and decompressing ALL YOUR COLUMN
Sphinx Pose
Start by laying on your stomach, feet hip-width apart, and bring the elbows under the shoulders. If there is too much pressure on your lower back, you can bring your elbows slightly forward.
The feeling is incredible.
Not only do you exercise and stretch your spine, but you also work your dorsal muscles on your back, so it can help you define your muscles.
Thread the Needle Pose
Lay on the floor, and bring the soles of the feet on the ground, feet hip-distance apart. Place your right ankle on the left thigh, and keep the foot flexed throughout the pose. Take your right arm in between the space of the legs, and the left arm outside the left thigh.
This position is incredible because as mentioned earlier in this article there are people who also feel pain in the legs when they have back pain, so this pose is perfect for both cases.
The hip flexors
The hip flexors are a few muscles that bring your legs and trunk together in a flexion development. They enable you to move your leg or knee up towards your middle, just as to twist your middle forward at the hip. You can strain or tear your hip flexor muscles through abrupt developments or falls
These muscles play a fundamental role in relieving your back pain.
These muscles are not very spoken when thinking about solutions to relieve back pain.
Let me tell you something, apart from everything I gave you in this video, certain exercises helped me unlock the hip flexors, and that resulted in completely relieving the pain of my back.
